POSITION DETAILS: This position works during the school year with opportunities to work over the summer. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00am - 1:00pm.   
SALARY: $11.25 per hour 
LOCATION: AIS Diamond - Hangers

 

SUMMARY:  

Support the Hangers program by sorting and placing inventory as well as help students shop for items.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   Other duties may be assigned.

  • Greet donors and assist with donations during drop off.
  • Process approved donations.
  • Ensure Hangers inventory is organized and well-presented.
  • Greet students when they arrive and ensure they enjoy a positive experience while shopping for items; Assist students with sign in upon arrival.
  • Review student paperwork to ensure accuracy and completion.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in stock rooms.
  • Monitor and supervise students during their visit.
  • Perform clerical tasks.
  • Present a pleasant, helpful attitude toward staff, students, parents, and visitors.
  • Maintains regular attendance.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Ability to speak clearly and concisely both in oral and written communication.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, and statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
